Ahhh, what a fabulous day this was….
I was thrilled when Marie asked me to do a couples photoshoot with her and her boyfriend, Morten. They live in Denmark, and were visiting Edinburgh for a few days. Marie thought it would be nice to have some photographs to remember their trip by.
Marie is a good friend I’ve known for several years now and I’ve even photographed her modelling wedding dresses on a few occasions!
I couldn’t be happier that she has now met her other half, Morten. Marie surprised him with the news of the photoshoot on the morning. Thankfully he thought it was a great idea… perhaps it was the fact he got to be affectionate all the way around Edinburgh that made him happy about being in front of the camera hehe!
We hung out all day catching up – including having traditional Sunday lunch and seeing Morten eat his first ever Yorkshire pudding… A trip to Maison De Moggy cat cafe (Which I already blogged about here), and a fun visit to Camera Obscura where we got to be big kids and take some comedy photos too…. a perfect day out.
Thanks so much to Marie & Morten for letting me run wild with my first couples photoshoot around the city of Edinburgh (despite the fact it was freezing!)
Here’s some highlights of their shoot:
When we came out of Camera Obscura, the last of the light was setting behind the castle so we quickly walked up to try and grab a few frames..
