Jodie & Kate were the first couple in Northumberland to convert their civil partnership to a marriage in a formalised ceremony at a wedding venue. Their amazing wedding day took place at The Alnwick Treehouse at The Alnwick Garden, right on the decking outside. Jodie’s friends & family flew in from Australia to celebrate with them and it was a truly wonderful and very emotional day.
The brides got ready separately at The Plough at Alnwick which is a lovely little inn.
It was a late afternoon ceremony, and the two brides had a very emotional ‘first look’ on the decking at the treehouse, and then we had some time for some couples photographs prior to their guests arriving.
