Horseshoe Farm is a beautiful hidden gem of a wedding venue inbetween York & Wetherby. Perfect for those laid back couples looking for a relaxed, diy wedding without any formality. A blank canvas, somewhere to pitch your tipi, marquee or tent and have a damn good party with your family & friends!
I was super excited to hear about this new Yorkshire wedding venue opening, and was invited along earlier this month to have a sneak peek. April from Kook Events had put on a fab event to showcase what kind of wedding you can have on the farm!
Horseshoe Farm offers overnight accommodation for up to four in a cosy little cottage, but you can also bring your own tents, campervan or hire someone in to fix you up with some super cool glamping tents. I just love the endless possibilities that this place offers.
There’s a few options for wedding ceremonies – you could go for a religious ceremony and then come back to the farm to celebrate, or you could do ‘the legal bit’ a few days before and hire a celebrant such as Louisa from Starr Gazing Ceremonies to have a truly personal ceremony.
Their open afternoon was buzzing with excited wedding suppliers – and I got a few photos of the day i’d love to share….
