Lindsey & Graham chose to get married in August, hoping it would be a lovely sunny day. Unfortunately with that being pretty much they only thing you can’t choose on your wedding day in England, it rained very nearly all day. However that didn’t put a dampener (pun intended!) on their celebrations at all and we had fun and laughter all day.
The church ceremony took place at St James’ Church, Morpeth, afterwards guests boarded their vintage red bus for the journey to High House Farm Brewery near Matfen, Northumberland.
The reception was held in the barn outside which the couple had added so many personal touches to. Coco Luminaire provided the giant light up letters and they had bunting & paperpom poms hanging from the roof. They made personalised beer bottle and chocolate favours for their guests too.
Graham loves his mini, and a couple of people with classic minis also kindly brought them along for photos – Loved it!
Their blue & white ruffle cake came from the amazing Curiously Wicked.
The bridesmaids embraced the rain, wearing wellies for some fun photographs. Graham & Lindsey also trusted me to capture some couples photographs in the rain too which I was really happy about as we got some great moments.
Lindsey left me such a lovely review over on my Facebook page “Katie was our photographer
for our wedding in August. The photographs were such an important part of the wedding to
me and I was not disappointed. Me and family are absolutely over the moon with
and we didn’t even notice her taking half of the images! It rained most of the day but Katie
brought umbrellas which look amazing in the photos. Katie was very professional and and
an absolute pleasure to work with. We had a lot of comments from our guests about how
great she was on the day and also the photographs. Me and Graham can’t thank you
enough Katie. x”
