Ahhh how to even start about John & Lisa’s wedding? Well you may recognise this pair…Their wedding photographs went viral, and have been featured all over the world, after everyone fell in love with the bromance of John and his best man Andy.
Lisa and John are really laid back and had a cool and personal wedding, and took it all in their stride!
They chose to get married at As You Like It in Jesmond, Newcastle, a great bar with amazing food and twinkly lights.
The bridal (& now famous groom) preparations took place at Hotel Du Vin Newcastle in their amazing suites.

As you can see from the above, John & Andy don’t take life too seriously, and wanted some ‘fun’ shots to capture their ‘bromance’!
Lisa chose to wear a gorgeous bespoke dress from House of Mooshki, which suited her so well, I saw her twirling around many times on the wedding day!
Her shoes were from Irregular Choice and teamed up perfectly with her dress. For her bridesmaids she used ribbons to customise converse. Perfect for a fun & relaxed wedding.

John & Lisa chose a topsy-turvy cake and biscuits with a replica cake as favours, so cute. They also had cake stands of sweets for the guests to help themselves.

The speeches were really funny, of course, and John was even presented with the above certificate by Lisa’s Dad!! Genius!!

John is in a fantastic band, called The Last Anthem who play at lots of weddings. It was a first for me, the groom playing his own wedding! Certainly very personal.
The band were brilliant and had people dancing on the tables and they were really interacting with the crowd. I would highly, highly recommend them for every wedding. They also had some guest performances from Andy, and Lisa’s Dad!
Earlier in the day I asked the band if they would get Lisa involved in the performance, and they decided to give her a tambourine, brilliant 🙂
