Amey & Adam got married at Standedge Tunnel Visitors Centre in Marsden, near Huddersfield. The venue has bags of character and space, and somewhere I have many happy memories of visiting as a child.
The guests had a surprise in store when they realised the last part of their journey to the wedding would be by narrow boat. They were then greeted by a brass band… it went down an absolute storm, especially with the guests from overseas.
The couple did an amazing ‘speed quiz’ after the meal which was really entertaining, the guests got very competitive with this too!
The bride got ready at The Shippon B&B over in Saddleworth.
The flowers were created by Roxanne from Lily Blossom in Marsden, and were amazing.
Harriet Broughton was on hand for hair and make up, and made Amey look and feel super glam.
The Olive Branch were the caterers…yum.
It rained most of the day, but it really didn’t matter. Everyone had an amazing time!
A big thanks to Jenny Milner Photography for being my second photographer…
Just have a look at the highlights from their special day….
A big thanks to Amey & Adam for having me as their wedding photographer, and a big congratulations on their marriage!
Thanks as well to the lovely suppliers who helped make their day amazing, especially Bev from Standedge Tunnel, what a star!
