This corporate photography shoot was with Soho 66, who wanted some in house stock photography. Showcasing their staff and services, which is mainly virtual assistant and reception work. I also did some office based headshots.

Follow me on PinterestFollow me on TwitterYesterday I exhibited at The Wedding Wonder Show at The Biscuit Factory in Newcastle. The fayre was organised in conjunction with Belle Bridal Magazine . I have heard many good things about the wedding fayres that they put on, so decided to give it a go this time.
The Biscuit Factory have created a new space, the Biscuit Room, for weddings and receptions, and this was the first time that the public was able to have a preview of what’s to come. It is light and airy and has wooden floors throughout. I would love to see it all set up for a wedding, it looks a great place.
It was the first time I had the opportunity for people to pick up my new flyer cards, I went for square cards in fine art paper, and they went down a storm!
I didn’t get much chance to take photographs as it was so busy with so many couples to chat to through the doors, but here’s a few shots of my stall and the day. It’s a shame I didn’t get to take more but I was there to chat to couples not take photos haha !
Thanks to The Wedding Wonder Show for putting on such a good event. They had live music, a fashion show and the best goodie bags i’ve seen at a fayre!!

I asked Chris Cross, a fabulous magician if he’d like a photo. Well it turns out, he is the least camera shy person ever, and immediately started posing!

Another person I met at the fayre was artist Wendy (Wendy Ann Stanger Textiles) . She can create amazing pieces of art out of wedding bouquets and wedding fabrics… what a gorgeous way to preserve the details of your special day,…. I noticed her as one of my brides has a piece of art made by Wendy, from her wedding bouquet hanging in her house.
Teri, from Styled and Seated (& also Belle Bridal Magazine) was showing a range of her work at the show as well. There were really so many friendly faces there!
And finally I got to chat to Dani, who was helping out Ross from Snaparazzi and Coco Luminaire, they had a range of their amazing things on display…. these really are the original and best quality photo booths and lights in the North East. LOVE the carnival themed LOVE letters… perfection!

We met up at the beach at Whitley Bay, near their home for their pre-wedding shoot in June, and they brought along their children as well to make it a family occasion. It was rather windy but we still had a lovely time. It was wonderful getting to know them more and keep your eyes out for their wedding which will be featured shortly on the blog.

They were planning their civil partnership when we first met, but thanks to the fantastic change in law were able to get married officially instead!
They chose to have their big day on 8th June 2014 at Gisborough Hall, which is nearby to where they live. As you can see it was a cloudless day at Gisborough, heavy rain was predicted for all day, but this didn’t materialise at all, woohoo!
Sandra had a bespoke trouser suit made from Bex Brides and Beth found her gorgeous silver wedding dress from Elizabeth George Bridal in Darlington.
The great thing about Gisborough Hall, is that they have a big staircase with two sets of stairs, meaning one set of stairs for each bride to walk down!
After a beautiful, personal ceremony, the Paul Lytton, a fabulous wedding magician entertained their guests who were left amazed.
The gorgeous flowers were created by Beth’s cousin who is a talented wedding florist from Flowerlab in Darlington. They featured roses and peonies with a vintage feel.

PINIMAGE I was thrilled when Alexis got in touch to book me for her wedding to Eric, at the Alnwick Treehouse. It is an absolutely magical venue set within the trees next to Alnwick Gardens with so much character.
The couple had an intimate wedding with a bigger one planned in New York for later.
Their two dogs were a big part of the day, as this was a key part of how they got together. They met walking their dogs in a park in New York city when Eric was working over there. They even walked down the aisle!
The gorgeous flowers were from C&C Florals and featured creams and soft pinks and purples.
The amazing Lisa Cameron did the hair for the bride, bridesmaid and mother of the bride. Dani.MUA was the fabulous make up artist for the day. It was lovely to work with these two talented wedding suppliers again.
The couple hired the treehouse exclusively so that they could have a quiet, intimate celebration, and the ceremony itself took place under a beautiful fairy light arch that is a key feature in the treehouse restaurant itself.
The couple welcomed their guests to the reception with mojitos in and around The Potting Shed.
Just as we were about to do the couples photographs torrential rain came out of no-where. I quickly changed my initial idea and lighting set up, and borrowed a groomsmen to hold a brolly over me and my kit (thanks for that!), and backlit the couple with flash, freezing all of the raindrops. I think this photograph would look awesome printed really large!
To fit with the American tradition, the couple had their first dance prior to their meal.
