Becky & John wanted their wedding to be fun, and a celebration of all the things they love. They threw out the rule book when it came to planning their day, and chose things that worked for them, and hoped their guests would be on board…. and they absolutely were!
They had their big day at The Storyhouse in Chester, which is a brilliant building housing a theatre, cinema, library, cafes and more…
They walked into their ceremony with Stormtroopers, which was lead by the fantastic Jordan Tunstall…and featured both hand fasting, and a karaoke sing along. Moving into the evening, the Mario Kart tournament was legendary, the mosh pit was banging and everyone had a bloody good time! The Party Punks brought an epic live band… and I kept meaning to leave but somehow couldn’t bring myself to. Check out those dancing photos….
I actually met Becky when I was 7 at primary school and we’ve kept in touch over the years, it was an absolute delight to photograph her and John’s big day. I absolutely love it when couples just chose to ‘do them’ on their wedding day rather than conform to traditions that don’t suit them as a couple.
Here are some highlights of their day….
The gorgeous flowers were made by Ginger Floral Design.
A big congratulations to Becky & John on their marriage, and for pulling off a fantastic wedding day.
