Carly & Chris finally got to tie the knot in October 2021 after a year’s postponement, and wow what a brilliant day they had! They chose to get married at Todmorden Unitarian Church – a beautiful, historic church, which was extremely welcoming and diverse (not been to a church that regularly hosts rock concerts before!). They had their first look outside the church! After the ceremony they stuck around for pies & drinks (Yup, I’ve never seen a font used as a bar before either!) and a natter with their guests.
With a short walk, they led their guests down to Yakumama, an independent bar & cantina in the centre of Todmorden.(Plus it’s 100% vegetarian, woop!) This was the perfect venue for a laid back and super cool wedding!
We stopped by the canal for a few relaxed portraits, and the rest of the evening involved food, laughs, chats, donuts, cocktails, dancing, and even a post-it-note game. Chris & Carly and their guests were so welcoming, I genuinely felt like part of the family. It was the perfect approach to blend in and get photographs, and I love it when I get to belly laugh with the bridesmaids too!
Delicious donuts from Ant & Doh!
Thanks SO much Carly & Chris for having me at your wedding, I had an absolute blast! A huge congrats on your wedding.
PS. I’m already thinking of my next meal at Yakumama too! – absolutely delicious!
