Ok, before you ask, no, I didn’t name them. (Nor did I learn to ski and buy a house in the French Alps 😉 ) These stunning holiday lets are owned by my extended family.
I was over the moon that they booked me to photograph their beautiful Chalets for their new website and promotional materials. The Chalets are situated in the French Alps in Saint-Gervais-Les-Bains, not far from Chamonix. I flew to Geneva airport (which was only an hour from the accommodation by road) and the views were breathtaking.
The Chalet sleeps six, and has three bedrooms, and is available all year round. It has been beautifully renovated to a high standard. The Summer Mazot sleeps eight, and has the bedrooms also. The name gives it away – it’s only available in the summer, and has a more authentic, rustic feel of a traditional mountain refuge. Both properties have access to a luxury hot tub area with amazing views of Mont Blanc!

I spent three days photographing this commission, with interiors and exteriors of the Chalets plus the private family home. I also adventured about the area for some images of the region and local facilities, and supplied various images for social media use throughout the year.
