Karin & Steve are a couple who like to do things in a ‘rather unconventional order. Despite being together for a number of years, and not actually being engaged, they chose to ‘seize the day’ and tie the knot whilst Steve’s family were over visiting from New Zealand.
It was the first ever wedding i’ve photographed where the groom pulled out an engagement ring to propose during the speeches!
Their wedding took place at Fixby Hall, Huddersfield Golf Club, on a gorgeous June day.
The bride & groom were keen to have their wedding captured in a natural & fun way, and their great sense of humour meant the tone for the day was very fun, happy and relaxed! PERFECT!
The couple chose some brilliant suppliers to bring together their wedding and it was a super fun day to be part of.
With lots of children in the family they booked Yo Yo’s Creche to keep the kids entertained and they also made beautiful (& funny!) wedding cards.
Lily Blossom Florist, based in Marsden provided the floral decor on the day including the beautiful bouquets with lots of foliage.
Here are some highlights of their brilliant Huddersfield wedding day….
A huge congratulations to Karin & Steve on their marriage <3
Thanks so much for having me as your wedding photographer!
(NB. The above wedding is an example of my short day coverage, especially for weddings close to Huddersfield/Manchester areas.)
