Hello! I’m Katie (she/her) …. that’s me in the sea taking photographs of one of my lovely couples.. I don’t get to go in the sea at sunset at many weddings so as you can see I was in my element!
If you’ve come to this page then you’d like to know a little more about me…
I’m a bubbly, colourful, big kid in her 30’s. I like drinking coffee (I’ll have mine with Oatly Barista thanks!) I’m a proud National Trust member, and love finding out about history and being outdoors. I’m a huge fan of hiking, camping and exploring nature in general.
I’m a total geek, I like watching obscure documentaries and doing a deep-dive into random topics on Wikipedia.
I love road trips and spending time with all the people I love. I enjoy mini-golf (especially with a pirate or dinosaur theme!), adventure playgrounds and having a paddle at the beach. I’m known for wearing bright clothes (especially dresses with POCKETS!) and a huge smile. In contrast I love reading crime fiction & thrillers….
I’ve recently started collecting house plants, it’s a bit of an addiction…ooops.
I love shopping second hand, pottering around charity shops and the like. I try to live my life as eco-friendly as possible.
I’ve been into photography for 20 years, since my first trip to the darkroom at college…. with 15 years experience as a wedding photographer.
I love animals, I especially love if pets are involved in your wedding!
I’m a Yorkshire lass, and now living in the North East. I’m part of the LGBTQ+ community, and have seen so many positive changes over the past 15 years i’ve been photographing weddings, but I believe that the wedding industry still has a long way to go when it comes to inclusivity and representation.
I live with my 6 year old daughter, Tilly, who is cheeky, funny and just my fantastic little side kick.

For me, life is about the little moments, having fun, being silly and taking chances, especially to create the life you want with people you love.
Now you know a bit more about me, let me tell you what I love most about my job!
